Product Overview
The seawater strainer is installed at the front end of the seawater system, mainly used to remove large impurities in seawater. It prevents impurities from damaging the seawater pump impeller, heat exchange equipment, or blocking the system flow path after entering the system, ensuring the normal operation of the seawater system and its heat exchange equipment. The seawater strainer is mainly composed of a shell, cover, filter basket, and sealing ring. Under the action of seawater pressure, seawater flows through the shell and filter basket of the strainer, and large particles in the seawater are removed by filtration. The particulate impurities are trapped inside the filter basket, and the filtered seawater flows into the pipeline system through the outlet for circulation.
This seawater strainer is suitable for front-end filtration of the seawater system of ships and is integrated with the seawater system pipeline.
