Mooring equipment
The purpose of the mooring equipment is to securely tie the ship to the dock, dock or next to the adjacent ship, or to tie the ship to a cable pontoon (water drum) in the mooring yard.
Ships are generally moored next to the pier or other ships, usually with a single cable or a return cable and a mooring cable wound around two ribbon bollards.
Mooring with a single-ended cable refers to a cable method in which one end of the mooring cable is tied to the bollard on the boat, and the other end is directly tied to the bollard of the dock or other ships through the fairlead, so that the ship can be docked next to the wharf or other ships.
Mooring with back cable refers to a cable method in which one end of the mooring cable is tied to the belt bollard of the boat, and the other end bypasses the dock or other bollard after passing the upper cable pliers on the boat, and then passes through the upper cable pliers on the boat, and is fixed on the cable post of the boat, so that the submarine can dock next to the dock or other ships.
When the ship is berthed next to it, it is usually moored with a single head cable with a double cable belt at the head and tail. When mooring at the shore, first disconnect the latch of the bracket reel, guide the bollard through the deck hole and pull out the deck, and tie it to the band bollard on the shore, then tie the bollard to the boat with bollard through the lead pliers, and finally latch the bracket reel. The general mooring method is in the shape of a "person". When it is difficult to tighten the bollard with manpower, such as in the case of strong tides, the bollard winch can be used to tighten the bollard, and after tying a tail cable, the winch is used to tighten the cable and tie it to the belt cable pile.
In the case of strong winds and waves, the mooring back cable can be used to strengthen the mooring ability, the so-called back cable is to fix one end of the mooring cable on the belt bollard of the boat, through the fairlead and the shore of the cable post back to the boat fairlead, tied to the boat on the ribbon bollard.
The mooring equipment consists of mooring attachments and mooring machinery. Mooring attachments include moorings, fairleads, bollards, lanyards, and cable reels.
We can provided all kinds of Class certificate for mooring equipment with customized design.
