The Marine Public Address (MPA) System is one of the core components of a ship's communication and safety assurance system, and is widely applied to various merchant ships, cruise ships and special-purpose vessels.
Its core functions fall into two categories: daily management and emergency response.
-
Daily BroadcastingIt supports full-ship or zoned voice announcements and instruction delivery, covering key areas such as the wheelhouse, engine room, crew quarters and passenger cabins, so as to meet the daily operation and scheduling needs of the ship.
-
Emergency BroadcastingIt is equipped with a priority override function. In case of emergencies such as fire, collision and ship abandonment, it can automatically or manually cut off the daily broadcasting signal, prioritize the release of alarm instructions and evacuation guidelines, and can be interconnected with the fire alarm system and emergency call system to ensure the safe evacuation of personnel.
The core components of the system generally include: broadcasting console, power amplifier, waterproof and explosion-proof loudspeakers, zone controller, microphone and interconnection interface module.
