Selection of heat-resistant conveyor belts

(1) the temperature of the material conveyed and the surface temperature of the tape according to the composition of the material, the nature of the surface structure and shape and particle size changes, such as when the temperature of the bulk material is 150 ℃, and the tape area is relatively small, the surface temperature of the tape can be maintained at 60 ~ 80 ℃; However, when the conveyor of water mud powder, the temperature of the material and the surface temperature of the tape the difference between very little; (2) tropical tape life by the surface temperature of the tape is quite serious. 
(2)The life of heat-resistant tape is seriously affected by the surface temperature of the tape, therefore, when selecting the tape, the surface temperature of the tape is extremely important, as well as the ambient temperature, whether the tape can be sufficiently cooled when it is returned; the speed of the tape and the distance from the centre, etc. are all noteworthy; 
(3)A thicker cover rubber is to ensure that the tape has a longer life of the important conditions, we suggest that the thickness of fabric-core heat-resistant tape cover rubber: the upper cover is 6~8mm, and the lower cover is 2~4mm.

Points of use

(1) The surface temperature of the entire belt should be continuously and uninterruptedly measured, recorded and monitored, and unnecessary temperature increases must be avoided.

(2) Compulsory cooling of the material and the belt (preferably with water over the entire length) is to be carried out.

(3) Keep the conveyed material evenly distributed according to the belt width and not too concentrated; and

(4) Prevent the presence of oil (trace oil in the cooling water) on the belt damage more than the heat itself.

(5) Take measures to remove the hot material from the belt containing the hot material once it has stopped running.
